NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM
Health Dynamics is a 5 week nurse aide training program designed to train and prepare students to take the Indiana Nurse Aide State Competency Exam. After passing the state exam, students are eligible to work as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
SERVICE
A nurse assistant helps with the routine care and treatment of persons who are sick, disabled, or infirm.

In order to be eligible for this course, students must have completed at least 8 grade levels of schooling, be at least 16 years of age, speak and understand the English language, have a valid Social Security number and provide a copy of the card, and be in good physical, mental and emotional health.

What you will Learn?
The Nurse Aide Training Program prepares students to administer patient care as a member of a nursing team. The topics include: the roles and responsibilities of a nurse assistant; HIPAA laws; how to prevent infection/promote safety; transfers; assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding; specimen collection; how to care for a person with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias.

Our program requires that all students be FULLY VACCINATED for COVID-19 AND one COVID-19 BOOSTER prior to entrance into the program in order to complete the clinical requirements of the program. Most clinical sites are not allowing exemptions for students. Proof of other immunity and/or vaccination is required.
A drug screen and criminal background check are required
If a student fails the criminal background check and drug screen and/or does not have the mandatory vaccinations, the student will be removed from the program.

Fingerprinting requires all students must be fingerprinted before the first day of class.

Overall employment of nurse assistants is projected to grow 8 percent from 2020 to 2030 according to the Bureau of labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Outlook Handbook.
